Our quality beef brisket is a low and slow cut of beef, perfectly cooked on the BBQ or smoker, and needs to be given time to let the flavours release.
For best results allow at least 8 hours on the smoker at a low heat, around 90-100°C in the oven, on the BBQ, or on the smoker.

Cooking instructions
Oven cook
For best results cook from chilled
Before Cooking: Remove joint from packaging and allow to breathe at room temperature for up to 30minutes. Preheat oven to 180c / fan 160c / Gas Mark 4.
Seal brisket in a hot pan with 5ml oil and season with a sprinkle of salt and pepper, transfer into oven dish, add 200g of chopped carrots and 200g of chopped celery (or 400g root vegetables) add 450ml beef stock, cover with foil.
Transfer into an oven and cook for between 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes.
Remove from oven then allow to rest for 15-20 minutes. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Oven Cook from chilled 180C/160C/Gas mark 4 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Keep refrigerated. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours. Do not exceed the Use By date. This product has been specially sealed for freshness and tenderness. The meat returns to its natural colour within 2 to 3 mins of opening.
Suitable for freezing. Freeze before date mark and consume within 3 months. Defrost in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours. Once defrosted, do not refreeze.
